Breakfast & Lunch Program

There is a Cold Lunch Program offered through the Office of School Food and Nutrition Services.   Please complete the School Meals Application to participate.

Children are eligible to receive free, reduced, or full price lunch based on the family's income and number of members in the household. This Program runs from Oct. to Oct. Therefore any new student will need to bring lunch for the month of September of the new school year.

Bus Service

City School Bus Service is provided to eligible children in grades Kindergarten through 6. (Pre-K students are not eligible.)

Metro cards are provided to eligible 7th and 8th graders.

While on the bus, students are expected to maintain appropriate behavior.   Should the school receive a written report of unacceptable behavior, and that behavior is not corrected, the student will no longer be permitted to use the bus.  Parents will then be required to make other arrangements for their child to get to and from school.

Any student arriving to school on the DOE Yellow School bus prior to 8:00 AM must go directly to the Morning Program at no cost to the parents.

Extended Day Care

To accommodate working parents, St. Clare's School has a Morning Program and an After School Program available Monday through Friday. These programs follow the school calendar.

Early Morning Program
The Early Morning Program is located in the After School Room. This program begins at 7:00am and continues until 8:00am at which time the students are walked to the school yard. It includes breakfast for a daily charge of $7.00 or $28.00 weekly.  Sibling discounts are available.

After School Program
St. Clare's After School Program is available Monday through Friday from 2:20pm to 6:30pm. This program usually follows the school calendar. Refer to the calendar each month. The program provides a snack, the opportunity for children to complete their homework, and free time.

The cost of this program is $15.00 per day for one child on regular school days and $20.00 per day for one child on half days of school. Discounts apply for siblings. Weekly discounts are available if the weekly fee is paid in full on the Monday of that week.
